  The owners are great. The Gumbo is the real deal, only wish I had bought more. The Low Country Boil was one of the best I have had in a long time, I just wish they had not cooked the shrimp so much, it was mushy. I will definitely look them up on my next stay at the cape. It is Cash Only right now, 10 lbs of Low Country Boil and two 16 oz of Gumbo was $75.00, but it was worth it.

  I've stayed at multiple places on gulf coast, and his book has been out favorite by far. Small stand, only does boils and gumbo, but they are great. Seasoning is perfect, as usually you get an overabundance of old bay, but this guy does his own thing. A little spicy, but it's not too much. Surprised the shrimp around here are smaller than other gulf shops, but that wouldn't affect me going back. The guy who runs it is friendly. I can't say enough good things. Did I mention free beer while you wait? Awesome.
